Job Description

Real Estate Litigation Associate (3+ PQE) | Leading London Team

If you’re a property litigator who wants proper exposure, high-value work, and a genuinely elite client base, this is one of the standout teams in London.

A leading international firm is looking to hire a Real Estate Litigation Associate (3+ PQE) into one of the largest and most highly ranked specialist property disputes teams in the city.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work across a broad, complex contentious property caseload, advising major investors, developers and corporate occupiers on high-profile matters.

Expect exposure to:

  • High-value landlord & tenant disputes (incl. 1954 Act work)
  • Development and construction-related disputes
  • Dilapidations, possession and forfeiture claims
  • Rights of light and party wall disputes
  • Service charge and asset management litigation
  • Telecoms Code matters
  • Professional negligence and insolvency-linked disputes
  • Regular involvement in court proceedings, mediations and arbitrations

What sets this team apart

  • Acts for names like institutional investors, PE-backed platforms, developers and global occupiers
  • Strong mix of corporate real estate clients + HNW work
  • Real responsibility early on — not a “shadowing” environment
  • Known for being both top-tier litigators and commercially sharp negotiators

What you’ll need

  • 3+ PQE in real estate / property litigation
  • Background from a well-regarded disputes or real estate practice
  • Strong grounding in core landlord & tenant + development disputes
  • Confident handling clients directly (incl. HNW / sophisticated commercial clients)
  • Commercial mindset

The opportunity

This is a genuine step into a top-tier London disputes platform where:

  • You’ll gain hands-on exposure to complex, high-profile matters
  • Build credibility within a market-leading property disputes team
  • Work closely with recognised partners and key clients
  • Accelerate your progression in a team that backs its associates

If you're open to a conversation (even passively), feel free to reach out — happy to give you a proper steer on how this compares to the wider market.
