What you will be doing:
- Strategy & Transformation:
- Develop and implement a supply chain excellence strategy aligned with business goals
- Lead transformation initiatives to optimise processes, systems, and performance
- Champion digitalisation, automation, and data-driven decision-making
- Performance & Continuous Improvement:
- Establish KPIs and performance frameworks to monitor supply chain effectiveness
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies across procurement, logistics, planning, and fulfilment
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams
- Influence senior leadership and key stakeholders to embed supply chain excellence principles
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and partners to enhance collaboration and innovation
- Leadership & Capability Building:
- Indirect Leadership: Influence and develop a high-performing team of supply chain professionals
- Programme management of all supply chain initiatives
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation
- Design and deliver training programmes to upskill teams and embed best practices
- Proactively manage supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies
What we need from you
- Proven track record in leading supply chain transformation and excellence programmes
- Extensive experience of using SAP in a supply chain context
- Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations and technologies
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving capabilities
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
- Experience of successful supply chain system implementations
- Qualifications:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Advanced certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP, Six Sigma Black Belt) are highly desirable
