- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Lead negotiations and secure high-value contracts with clients in the Automotive industry.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team to ensure performance targets are met.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to enhance its market presence.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management on business development activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Business Development Director should have:
- A proven track record in business development within the Automotive or logistics sector.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and secure business opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Experience in creating and executing strategic business plans.
