We are seeking an experienced Facades Buyer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the procurement of façade materials and systems, ensuring cost efficiency, quality and timely delivery across projects.
Working closely with the Bid & Pre-Construction team, Project Managers, suppliers and Commercial teams, you will support projects from early-stage procurement through to successful delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Be responsible for sourcing and procuring façade materials in line with project requirements, ensuring quality, cost efficiency and programme alignment.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate competitive pricing, ensuring best value is achieved while maintaining strong and reliable supply chain partnerships.
- Support project teams with procurement strategies and contributing to the development of budgets during pre-construction and delivery phases.
- Track orders, monitor deliveries and oversee supply chain performance to ensure materials are delivered on time and in accordance with project programmes.
- Ensuring compliance with project specifications and requirements will be a key part of the role.
- The position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to support efficient and successful project delivery.
What We’re Looking For
Skills and Experience
- Experience in procurement or estimating within facades, cladding or the wider construction industry is essential.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Experience managing supplier relationships.
- Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
Personal Attributes
- Ability to work in a team environment contributing across the business unit.
- Good management skills.
