Job Description:

The Operational Resilience Manager reports to the Head of Technology Risk Oversight and is part of the Technology Risk Team, which forms part of the Second Line of Defence in the Non-Financial Risk function.The role will provide second line oversight of operational resilience, technology resilience, IT disaster recovery, and business continuity. The role is part of a wider team responsible for providing second line oversight of non-financial risk across (1) Technology, (2) Data, (3) Third Party and (4) Operational Resilience, across M&G.The role provides advice and challenge to the first line, reviewing the implementation and operation of the non-financial risk framework.It also supports regulatory compliance (e.g. FCA, PRA, DORA), contributes to strategic risk insights, and strengthens the organisation’s ability to withstand and recover from disruption.**Key Responsibilities:** Review the strength and appropriateness of NonFinancial Risk controls across all areas of Operational Resilience.**Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:** Experience in oversight of operational resilience, technology risk or IT disaster recovery, preferably within financial services or regulated organisations. (essential) understanding of regulatory requirements (PRA, FCA, DORA) and Ability to interpret and challenge resilience metrics, impact tolerances, and scenario testing outcomes relating to important business services.
