Role Purpose
Take a hands-on leadership role within a small, high performing engineering team in Real Estate Technology. You will drive technical delivery, actively write code and champion continuous improvement across a range of projects. Collaborate with central engineering communities to embed best practice and enhance service management for global users.
Experience in the banking or real estate sector is not required – what matters is your technical expertise and ability to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and Mentor: Guide and develop engineers, fostering accountability, teamwork and technical excellence.
Hands-on Delivery: Provide technical direction and actively contribute code to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Promote modern engineering standards, agile practices and process enhancements.
Service Management – Strengthen operation of reliability and user satisfaction through improved incident, change and problem management.
Stakeholder collaboration – Work closely with product managers, architects, and global teams to deliver on technology roadmaps.
Expertise and Skills
Essential
Proven Experience leading technical teams in complex environments
Strong Coding Skills and hands-on involvement in software delivery
Solid Understanding of Cloud, DevOps, CI/CD and engineering quality frameworks
Effective Communicator and collaborator across technical and non-technical teams
Commitment to agile delivery and continuous improvement
Desirable
Experience in real estate technology or similar domains
Participation in Engineering Communities or centres of Excellence
