Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Multiple Levels (SC Cleared)

We are hiring Site Reliability Engineers at multiple levels (Engineer, Senior, and Principal) to join a high-performing team delivering secure, scalable, and highly available platforms within a complex environment.

This is an opportunity to work on mission-critical systems where reliability, automation, and performance are essential.

The Role

As an SRE, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of modern, cloud-based platforms. Depending on your level, you’ll contribute to or lead on design, automation, and operational excellence.

You’ll be working closely with engineering and platform teams to build resilient systems and embed SRE best practices across the full lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and improving system reliability, availability, and performance
  • Monitoring platforms, managing incidents, and driving root cause analysis
  • Automating operational processes and reducing manual intervention
  • Supporting and enhancing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
  • Collaborating with development teams to improve system design and resilience

At Senior / Principal level, you will also:

  • Lead on reliability strategy and engineering best practices
  • Design scalable, fault-tolerant architectures
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership
  • Drive improvements in observability, automation, and platform maturity

Skills & Experience

We’re open to candidates at different levels, but you should have experience in:

  • Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
  • Scripting or programming (Python, Bash, Go, or similar)
  • Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
  • Experience working with large-scale distributed systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident management expertise
  • Ability to influence architecture and engineering practices
  • Proven leadership or mentoring experience

Security Requirements

  • Active Security Check (SC) clearance is essential
  • Due to the nature of the work, candidates must meet UK security clearance eligibility requirements

If you’re an SC-cleared SRE looking for your next challenge—whether you’re building your career or leading at scale—we’d love to hear from you.
