Job Description:

A leading global real estate and construction consultancy is seeking a commercially aware Cost Manager to join their established London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Cost Manager to work across a diverse portfolio including commercial, residential and mixed-use developments, delivering high-quality cost management services within a client-focused environment.

The successful Cost Manager will play a key role in supporting project delivery across the full lifecycle, working alongside senior stakeholders while maintaining control of day-to-day commercial activities. The Cost Manager will collaborate closely with clients, project managers and design teams to ensure accurate cost control and consistent delivery across multiple schemes.

The Role

  • Preparing cost plans, budgets and feasibility studies
  • Supporting procurement, tender documentation and contract administration (JCT)
  • Managing project costs, variations and change control processes
  • Supporting risk management and value engineering initiatives
  • Assisting with valuations, payments and final account agreements
  • Producing regular cost reports and financial updates for clients
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes

The Cost Manager?

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
  • Experience in a Cost Manager, Quantity Surveyor or similar role
  • Strong understanding of JCT contracts
  • Experience across the full project lifecycle
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
