Senior Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist

YT Technologies are seeking a strategic Procurement Specialist to join a high-growth organization at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Systems Engineering, and Aerospace.

This is a pivotal appointment for a strategic-minded procurement professional. You will take ownership of a complex, high-value supply chain that bridges cutting-edge R&D and full-scale production.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing: Manage end-to-end procurement for bespoke electronic systems, sensors, and aerospace-grade components.
• Contract Negotiation: Lead the development of long-term supply agreements with high-tech partners across the UK and Europe.
• Supplier Governance: Onboard and audit high-performing suppliers, ensuring alignment with rigorous quality and industry-specific compliance standards.
• Cross-Functional Impact: Work directly with Engineering and Finance leads to ensure the supply chain remains agile enough to support aggressive product launch roadmaps.
• Digital Integration: Drive process efficiency using modern ERP systems (Microsoft environment).

Requirements

• Background: 4-6 years in a Procurement/Supply Chain role within a highly regulated industry (e.g., Defence, Aerospace, Space, or Medical Tech).
• Qualifications: MCIPS or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Tech Savvy: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Business Central or a similar Tier-1 ERP system.
• Communication: Advanced English (C2) with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and manage international vendor relationships.
• Clearance: Ability to undergo UK Security Clearance is essential due to the nature of the projects.
