Security Project Manager

A leading engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Fire & Security Project Manager to lead the delivery of enterprise‑level electronic security systems on a major life sciences campus development in Oxford.

The project includes cutting‑edge laboratories, research facilities and collaborative spaces, with a fully integrated security solution across the site including:

• IP CCTV
• Access Control
• Video Management Systems

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high‑profile, technically complex project with strong long‑term career prospects.

The Role:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee the engineering, installation and delivery of large‑scale security systems, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the delivery of enterprise‑scale electronic security systems
• Coordinating with clients, subcontractors and internal teams
• Managing project controls, installation quality and programme
• Producing RAMS, reports and technical documentation
• Ensuring H&S compliance and security standards
• Driving successful commissioning and handover

Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering electronic security projects
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of BSEN, NSI and H&S regulations
• Experience with IP CCTV, Access Control and Intruder systems
• VMS platforms such as Milestone
• Understanding of IP networks and ELV systems
