Benoy is looking for a senior architect/senior architectural designer – hospitality to join its team in London.

Are you a dynamic senior architect/senior architectural designer with an innovative portfolio to match? Are you looking to gain experience across a range of global projects? We are looking for a senior architect/senior architectural designer with hospitality experience and expertise in hotel design and planning to join our London studio and be a part of our exciting, growing hospitality team on a permanent basis.

What we are looking for:

  • present as a talented designer, with a portfolio that showcases great creativity and innovative thinking
  • hospitality experience (hotel design and planning) required
  • degree in related design field or equivalent certification or skill level; professional registration or equivalent is preferred
  • a minimum of five years experience in the design and/or delivery of mixed-use developments either in the UK or internationally
  • advanced capability in both Rhino and Revit is essential. Grasshopper would be advantageous
  • strong modelling capability and experience with AI image generation
  • proficiency in scripting or visual programming tools such as Rhino/Grasshopper, Dynamo, or Python for design automation and optimisation
  • proficiency with computer applications commonly used such as Adobe Suite
  • ability to work both collaboratively, and with autonomy as required
  • strong communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills

Key responsibilities

Design expertise

  • deliver high quality design work, engaging others with your creative and innovative thinking
  • proven capability in hotel design and planning from hotel feasibility to detailed design stages

Project delivery

  • demonstrate a working knowledge of the design process and project brief, supporting the preparation of the project deliverables and other activities related to the project development
  • deliver high quality work with limited guidance, demonstrating developed design and technical skills
  • manage and co-ordinate with consultants on the relevant stages of the project

Team membership

  • act as a team player, actively seeking feedback and demonstrating a positive attitude towards work and team activities
  • support company-wide initiatives and proactively seek feedback

Client relationships

  • respond positively towards clients and consultants
  • prrovide support to senior team members with client presentations and meetings as required

Budget control

Recognisethe importance of the project budget and seeks to develop their knowledge of project financials.
