Salary banding: £43,920 – £60,640

At Beyond Sports, we create world‑class digital products used by sports fans across the globe. We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer who’s passionate about building fast, beautiful, and accessible user experiences across web and native platforms.

You’ll work with rich data sources, modern frontend technologies, and a collaborative team that values learning, sharing, and high‑quality craftsmanship. If you enjoy turning complex requirements into elegant interfaces, and want to grow your skills while doing it, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

• Build high-quality, responsive frontend solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and easy for others to extend
• Create custom UI experiences that engage and delight sports fans
• Work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver the best possible solutions
• Integrate APIs and third‑party services (including video providers)
• Manage and deploy code to internal environments (Dev, Test)
• Track progress and communicate clearly with the wider project team
• Take pride in the details—performance, accessibility, and polish matter here
• Continuously develop your skills and share knowledge across the team

What we’re looking for

You have expert knowledge of:

• HTML & CSS
• Responsive web development
• Browser and device testing (including debugging)
• Either SASS development or JavaScript development (vanilla JS is essential)

You’re comfortable with:

• SASS
• JavaScript (vanilla essential)
• React
• Gulp workflows
• Git and code management
• JSON data structures
• Jira for task and ticket management
• Documenting frontend solutions and code
• Working with APIs (GET/POST)
• Integrating third‑party libraries and applications

You understand:

• NPM and Bower dependency management
• ES6
• Web performance optimisation
• Web accessibility standards
• SEO best practices
• Gulp workflow setup
