About the Team

The AWS Aurora CP Developer Experience team focuses on improving the Aurora experience for customers, working closely with Aurora Serverless, Aurora Storage, and Aurora Platform teams. We operate like a start‑up with a very flat organizational structure and a casual office vibe, while leveraging all the resources and stability of being the largest cloud provider.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience leading an engineering team, serving as a mentor or tech lead.
  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, and proficiency in object‑oriented design.
  • Professional, non‑internship software development experience.
  • Experience leading the architecture and design of new and existing systems, focusing on reliability and scaling.
  • Development experience in the last three year(s).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
  • Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
