Robotics Test Engineer

We’re working with a venture-backed robotics company to findQuality Assurance Engineer, you’ll sit at the intersection of machine learning, infrastructure, and product delivery. Working closely with R&D and Product teams, you’ll be instrumental in building scalable ML systems that power advanced robotic platforms.

• Design, execute, and maintain manual & automated tests (Playwright, Jest, SuperTest)
• Test APIs, control systems, and robotics software releases
• Perform hardware + integration testing (robotic arms, sensors, controllers)
• Identify, track, and resolve bugs (Jira)
• Build regression suites and improve QA processes
• Support releases, sprint planning, and test coverage
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams
• Handle customer issues, tickets, and troubleshooting docs

Requirements

• Background in quality engineering or testing roles
• Skilled in creating structured test strategies and documenting defects
• Comfortable validating APIs and complex, interconnected systems
• Experience working within iterative, agile teams
• Exposure to robotics or embedded environments
• Hands-on experience with automated testing and scripting (e.g. Python)
• Familiarity with physical robotic systems or hardware integration
