A well-regarded accountancy practice in the Scunthorpe area is seeking an Experienced Accountant / Accounts Senior to join its friendly and knowledgeable team. The role involves preparing accounts and providing a comprehensive accounting and advisory service to a varied portfolio of clients across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory and management accounts
• Produce corporation tax computations and returns
• Prepare Self-Assessment tax returns
• Respond to client queries and provide clear, practical support
• Assist with the development of trainee team members through on-the-job training
• Review trainee work, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
• Ensure work is completed within required timeframes and to a high standard

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice is essential
• Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a supportive team
