About you
We’relooking for a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at Belfast. If you thrive on variety and want to make a meaningful impact, this could be the role for you. At PDSA, no two days are ever the same,you’llsee a wide range of medical and surgical cases that will challenge and develop your skills while making a real difference to pets and owners who really need our help.
You’llbring adaptability and resilience to handle a diverse caseload, along with the clinical confidence to make sound, evidence-based decisions.You’recomfortable discussing realistic treatment options, creating clear plans that balance best practice with each owner’s circumstances, and you take a pragmatic, welfare-focused approach to doing what’s right for every pet. Excellent communication skills arekey,you’llbe able to build trust with clients and work positively with colleagues across the hospital.
You’llbe a team player who enjoys a collaborative, supportive environmentwheresharing knowledge and learning from one another is encouraged. About the hospital
Belfast is a highly collaborative, effective hospital,a great placefor teamwork, casediscussionand shared learning. Our teams have varied clinical interests, giving you access to a wide pool of knowledge and experience when discussing cases and treatment plans.
Our Pet Hospitals are modern and well-equipped and include separate dog and cat kennelling facilities, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, pipedgasesand extensive orthopaedic equipment.
