Role Overview
The postholder will provide expert nursing knowledge, skills and experience in the field of Cardiac Catheter Laboratory Nursing Practice, and act as a resource to advise, educate and support those involved in the care of the patient.
Responsibilities
- Assesses patients, plans and implements care.
- Provides specialist advice.
- Maintains records.
- Carries out specialist nursing procedures.
- Provides clinical supervision to other staff/students.
- Participates as a member of the Cath Lab Team at the Trent Cardiac Centre, City campus, providing seamless service for cardiac patients including taking part in the cardiac emergency on call service on an internal rotation (includes weekend and bank holiday working).
