Our established Pricing and Actuarial practice is one of the strongest and most trusted parts of Ascentia Partners. We work with leading insurers across the market and have a long history of delivering high quality talent into pricing, actuarial and related technical roles.

You will not be starting cold.

You will walk into live roles, warm client relationships and repeatable hiring needs that come from years of credibility in this niche.

As the practice continues to grow, we are investing in the right people to ensure we maintain the pace, consistency and level of service our clients expect. This role strengthens our capability at an important stage in our growth and gives you the chance to play a key part in a high performing team without needing to build a desk from the ground up.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant with at least 1 year’s experience to have:

  • Ownership of roles across major insurance clients
  • A warm and established platform
  • A clearly defined specialist niche
  • The chance to work closely with senior consultants and founders
  • Optional exposure to full 360 recruitment if desired

What you will do

  • Deliver on a steady flow of pricing, actuarial and technical vacancies within insurance and regulated industries
  • Qualify candidates to a high standard and assess capability, motivations and long term fit
  • Take full responsibility for the candidate process including qualification, shortlisting, preparation, feedback and offer management
  • Work closely with the wider Pricing team to support high priority client needs
  • Build strong relationships with candidates and maintain consistent, high quality pipelines
  • Make effective use of warm accounts, existing relationships and a trusted brand

What you will need

  • Strong recruitment delivery experience, ideally within a specialist or technical market
  • Excellent qualification skills and confidence managing end to end candidate processes
  • A commercial mindset and the ability to prioritise effectively in a warm and busy market
  • The drive to deliver consistent high quality work
  • A genuine interest in becoming a specialist within pricing and actuarial recruitment
  • Curiosity or interest in developing 360 capability although this is not essential
