Technical Assists Engineer – Automotive Diagnostics

We are seeking a Technical Assists Engineer / Diagnostic Engineer to support a leading automotive OEM, focusing on vehicle diagnostics, fault finding, and technical support across complex systems.

This is a hands‑on role suited to candidates with strong automotive diagnostics experience, ideally from an OEM, dealership, or Tier 1 supplier environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support and diagnostics for complex vehicle issues
• Perform fault finding, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA)
• Support dealer/retailer networks with technical issue resolution
• Interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics
• Diagnose vehicle systems using CAN, LIN and BUS networks
• Use diagnostic tools including oscilloscope, multimeter, and scan tools (OBD)

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive diagnostics or vehicle fault finding
• Strong knowledge of CAN bus, LIN bus, and vehicle electrical systems
• Experience reading wiring diagrams and schematics
• Hands‑on use of diagnostic tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, scan tools)
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills

Desirable

• OEM or dealership experience
• Master Technician or senior technician background
• Experience supporting dealer networks or technical escalations
