About you

• Apprenticeship trained (machining bias), qualified to HNC/HND level in Mechanical or Production Engineering
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of 4 & 5 axis machining and CNC lathes
• Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Comfortable managing projects and working across multiple departments
• Strong communication skills, able to work with production, engineering, and wider teams
• Commutable to Middleton

About the role

• Provide engineering support across all areas of production
• Identify and implement improvements to process capability and yield
• Create routings, BOMs, costings, and process specifications
• Provide technical input on tooling, fixtures, and programming
• Work with systems including SolidWorks, CAD/CAM, and SAP
