Job Overview

Are you seeking your next career opportunity as a Field Service Engineer? Linde Material Handling, a global leader in forklift trucks and warehouse equipment, is looking for skilled Field Service Engineers to join our teams in Selby/Goole (YO Postcode) and Hull (HU Postcodes). We value experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, especially those who have worked as forklift technicians, plant fitters, or vehicle technicians, and knowledge of plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on a full range of products, from small pallet trucks to Counterbalance, Very Narrow Aisle (VNA), and automated trucks.
  • Provide on-site servicing of Linde forklifts and related equipment.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a vehicle technician or mechanical engineer with exposure to forklift, plant, or vehicle maintenance.
  • Familiarity with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (not essential).
  • Full UK driving licence (Field and Resident Engineers).
  • Proficiency with IT equipment and record-keeping systems.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
