Junior Quantity Surveyor (Post Grad)
Location:SwanseaSalary:£30,000 – £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + package.
Role Overview
The Junior Quantity Surveyor will work alongside the Senior QS to provide commercial and cost management support on projects from tender stage through to final account.
This includes cost planning, procurement, subcontract management, valuations and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within budget and in line with contractual requirements.
The role plays a key part in protecting commercial interests, managing risk and supporting successful project delivery. The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with operational and estimating teams to ensure smooth handover from tender to delivery.

Assist with cost planning and commercial input during tender stagePrepare and manage project budgets and cost forecastsProduce and submit interim valuations and applications for paymentMeasure works and prepare Bills of Quantities where requiredProcure subcontract packages and manage subcontractor accountsAnalyse subcontract quotations and ensure scope completenessNegotiate subcontract terms and final accountsIdentify and manage variations, change control and cost recoveryMonitor project costs and report on financial performanceAttend site meetings and liaise with operational teamsSupport risk management and contractual complianceManage and respond to commercial queriesMaintain accurate records to ensure smooth final account settlementEmail: (url removed)
