Your mission

We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Engineer to join our passionate team and work hands-on with cutting-edge SCIENION and CELLENION technologies at the forefront of life Scienion innovation. This is a field-based role with extensive travel across the UK and Ireland, with further opportunities to support projects in other regions – perfect for someone who thrives on variety, challenge and impact. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be a vital link between our customer portfolio and our development team ensuring our advanced systems deliver maximum value while representing the company in a professional and collaborative manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and setup of the SCIENION and CELLENON product range.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and on-site customer repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex system issues.
  • Implement system updates and optimise performance for efficiency and reliability.
  • Provide on-site or remote technical assistance.
  • Act as the technical interface between customers and internal teams.
  • Prepare technical quotations and service reports for customers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with ISO accreditation.

Your profile

  • Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, electronic or biomedical preferred) or comparable qualification.
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field or in-house service role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • High degree of flexibility, independence, and willingness to travel up to 60%.
  • Fluent English is required; additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Must have a UK driver’s license and access to a car.
