A well-established and growing construction business is looking to appoint an experienced Setting Out Engineer to support projects across the Harlow to Chelmsford region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking team delivering high-quality work across a varied project portfolio.
The RoleYou will be responsible for accurate setting out, surveying, and ensuring works are delivered in line with design specifications. Working closely with site teams and project managers, you’ll play a key role in maintaining quality and efficiency on site.
Key Responsibilities
Setting out for a range of construction projects
Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Ensuring all works are carried out to the highest standards
Liaising with site teams and subcontractors
Maintaining accurate records and site documentation
Requirements
Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer within construction
Strong understanding of surveying equipment and techniques
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Full UK driving licence
