Do you want to work for a leading poultry processing manufacturer, part of a multi-national UK group, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to growth within the engineering team, they are looking for a days based shift engineer.
Role & responsibilities of a maintenance engineer:
Carrying out PPM, reactive & predictive maintenance/breakdown analysisElectrical & mechanical fault finding, repairs & PPM’sWorking on various high-speed food production lines, processing & packaging machinerySite services & facilities maintenanceSupport project work and continuous improvement activitiesPLC & control panels – electrical fault finding & repairs
Knowledge, skills & experience needed to be a maintenance engineer:
Must be a multi-skilled engineer – electrically biasedNVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 or higher in electrical engineeringBe a problem solver, approachable, with good prioritisation skillsAble to react to breakdowns effectively, safely and efficientlyBoth electrical & mechanical fault-finding capabilitiesNeed to be comfortable working in poultry processing & production facilityIdeally have worked in food, FMCG, industrial fast-paced manufacturing
