The Role
We’re working with a well‑established fire & life safety provider looking to add an experienced Maintenance / Service Engineer to their regional team. This is a field‑based role focused on planned and reactive maintenance across commercial and residential sites.
You’ll be trusted to manage your own workload, represent the business professionally on‑site, and ensure systems remain compliant and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems
- Carrying out routine inspections, fault‑finding and remedial works
- Completing service reports and compliance documentation
- Liaising with clients, site teams and internal support
- Occasional travel into London when required
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a service / maintenance role
- Strong background in fire alarm systems
- Experience with emergency lighting and/or smoke ventilation is highly beneficial
- Knowledge of British Standards and compliance requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage your own day
