Plant Engineer (Night Shift)

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Plant Engineer to join the night shift team. You will play a key role in maintaining and improving plant operations — ensuring machinery runs efficiently and downtime is minimised in a fast-paced recycling environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across plant machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise disruption.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
• Work independently during night shifts while supporting site operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in industrial, plant, or maintenance engineering.
• Strong mechanical knowledge (electrical skills advantageous).
• Ability to fault-find and problem-solve under pressure.
• Experience working in a fast-moving production or recycling environment (desirable).
• Flexible, reliable, and safety-focused approach.
