Are you a structural design engineer with experience working in a UK based structural consultancy liaising closely with senior chartered engineers? This 20-strong consultancy in South London wants to meet you.

Due to a large uplift in their London-based structural projects they are looking to strengthen their structural design team with the appointment of 2 structural design engineers who they will train and progress rapidly to managing their own projects.

Responsibilities

• Design in all traditional materials under the guidance of a chartered structural engineer.
• Collaborate with clients and architects to develop design solutions.
• Work on both new build and refurbishment projects, predominantly London-based.
• Attend design meetings and contribute ideas in a collaborative consultancy environment.
• Progress towards managing own projects as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a structural design engineer in a UK-based structural consultancy.
• Comfortable using design software and engaging in client and architect liaison.
• Willingness to learn, with a view to developing client and architect liaison skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team and contribute ideas.
