Job Title: Design Manager – Construction/Architectural/Modular

Location: East Yorkshire

Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 + WFH + Bonus + Private Healthcare

The Role

  • Manage the design process from inception to completion, including producing design proposals, managing the tender process, and overseeing the construction phase
  • Liaise with other teams within the company to ensure the design process is integrated with other aspects of the project
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to the design team
  • Develop and maintain effective project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and design briefs
  • Manage project budgets and ensure financial targets are met
  • Ensure all design work is completed to a high standard, within agreed timescales and budgets
  • Develop and implement design policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement of the design function

The Person

  • Min HNC in Construction or Architectural or similar
  • Ideally you will have experience working as a Design Manager/Design Coordinator/Architect in an Architectural Practice or Modular Building business
  • Must have prior experience in hands on design of Modular Buildings or similar using AutoCAD or Revit
  • Good understanding of Building Regulations is a MUST
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill
  • Proven ability to review and improve processes and procedures, looking for innovative and creative solutions

Salary & Benefits

  • £50,000 – £70,000 (Dependent On Experience)
  • 37.5 working week: Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm; Friday 8am-2pm
  • 1 Day WFH per week/4 days WFH per month
  • Bonus (Up-to 30%)
