We are seeking a talented and experienced Chartered Structural Engineer with a strong background in building façades to join a growing and dynamic engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver structural engineering design on façade and building envelope projectsCarry out structural analysis and calculations for façade systems (including glass, cladding, curtain walling, and support systems)Provide technical input across all project stages, from concept through to constructionCollaborate with architects, contractors, and specialist façade consultantsEnsure designs comply with relevant standards and regulations (Eurocodes / British Standards)Review and approve drawings, specifications, and calculationsSupport junior engineers and contribute to team developmentAttend client meetings and act as a technical point of contactAbout You
Chartered Engineer (CEng), ideally with MIStructE or MICEProven experience as a Structural Engineer within consultancy or specialist engineering environmentsStrong experience working with façade systems / building envelopesSolid understanding of structural materials including steel, concrete, aluminium, and glassExperience with structural analysis and design software (e.g. Tekla, Robot, ETABS, SAP2000)Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholdersProactive, detail-oriented, and commercially awareDesirable Experience
Experience working on complex or high-rise buildingsKnowledge of façade-specific standards and testing requirementsTemporary works or connection design experienceExposure to international projectsWhy Join?
