Salary: £35,000 – £37,000

Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm, Monday to Friday

A well-established food manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead afternoon operations within a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who can motivate teams, maintain high standards, and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations on shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage production teams to achieve daily targets and operational efficiency
• Ensure all food safety, quality, and hygiene standards are maintained
• Monitor production performance and implement improvements where required
• Coordinate staff allocation and provide leadership to team leaders and operatives
• Support training, development, and performance management of team members
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth production flow

Requirements

• Previous team leader or management experience within a production environment
• Food manufacturing experience is essential
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage performance, motivate teams, and solve problems quickly
• Good understanding of food safety and production processes
