Job Description:

Domus Recruitment is working closely with a provider based in Bristol, who are looking for a new Deputy Home Manager at their 30‑bedded residential home in Frenchay. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone that is an experienced Team Leader or Deputy Home Manager looking for new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the overall management of the residential home
  • Ensure the home operates in line with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., CQC)
  • Support with inspections, audits, and compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Supervise, support, and motivate care staff
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training
  • Conduct staff supervisions and appraisals

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care
  • Previous experience in a senior care role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience as a Deputy Manager or Team Leader
  • Knowledge of CQC standards and inspections
  • Experience working with elderly / dementia / complex needs
