Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimise scalable microbial cell culture processes from lab to pilot scale.
- Apply strain engineering and advanced molecular biology techniques across microbial systems.
- Support process scale‑up and downstream development for industrial implementation.
- Work closely with internal production teams and external partners to ensure successful tech transfer.
- Collaborate with commercial, regulatory, IP, applications, and sales teams to align on project goals.
- Contribute to the smooth transition of processes intocommercial‑scale manufacture.
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong academic background in microbiology, biotechnology or chemical engineering.
- Hands‑on expertise in microbial cell culture, fungal strain engineering, and genetic manipulation.
- Skilled in molecular biology techniques, including cloning and DNA/RNA work.
- Confidentcommunicatorandcollaboratorwith technical and commercial teams.
