Check you match the skill requirements for this role, as well as associated experience, then apply with your CV below.Sculthorpe Moor Nature Reserve, NorfolkSculthorpe Moor Nature Reserve is seeking a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Customer Services Officer to join our welcoming team at the Visitor Centre.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with the public and has an interest in wildlife and conservation, to contribute to the smooth running of a busy and much-loved nature reserve.Key ResponsibilitiesWelcoming visitors and providing excellent customer service at the front deskAnswering telephone enquiries and directing queries appropriatelyOpening and closing the Visitor CentreOperating the till and handling daily cashing upSupporting volunteers and working collaboratively with staff and wardensMaintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation within the centreReplenishing shop stock and maintaining equipment (e.g. coffee machine)Promoting membership and supporting the work of the reserveEnsuring health and safety compliance while on dutyAbout YouWe are looking for someone who:Has experience working with the publicIs organised and able to work in a busy environmentHas excellent communication and telephone skillsIs reliable, trustworthy, and a strong team playerIs confident using computers and basic IT systemsHas good numeracy and attention to detailHas an interest in wildlife and conservationWorking Pattern & Pay£12.71 per hourPart-time: Friday to Sunday (09:15 – 16:15), every third weekendAdditional hours available to cover staff leave and sickness6 days paid annual leaveTraining providedAdditional InformationThis role is subject to an enhanced DBS check (paid for by the Trust)How to ApplyApplications must be made in writing, with a covering letter why your are applying and brief CV and submitted by 3rd April 2026 .Please email your application by clicking the ‘quick apply’ button.Please include two references with your application. xwzovoh References will only be contacted for the successful candidate .Join us and play a key role in providing a welcoming experience for visitors while supporting important conservation work….
