Commercial Manager We’re excited to be working with a growing engineering and technology business who are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead commercial performance across a portfolio of projects and bids. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys influencing outcomes, managing complexity, and shaping commercial strategy within a fast‑moving organisation. The RoleYou’ll take ownership of commercial and contractual management across multiple programmes, providing insight, challenge, and assurance on commercial, financial, and risk matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading commercial management of projects and bids
- Supporting commercial strategy and translating it into project‑level actions
- Leading negotiations, including contractual changes and variations
- Managing commercial risk and opportunity
- Overseeing pricing, margin protection, and payment structures
- Drafting a range of commercial agreements (NDAs, MoUs, supplier agreements, collaboration agreements, service contracts, etc.)
- Working with Supply Chain to develop and negotiate sub‑contracts
- Managing due diligence on customers and partners
- Improving commercial processes and performance metrics
About YouYou’ll be a commercially astute professional with strong communication and influencing skills, comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and projects. Experience & skills:
- 5+ years’ commercial or contract management experience
- End‑to‑end contract lifecycle management and negotiation
- Strong understanding of contract law
- Experience resolving disputes and claims
- Programme‑level risk, pricing, and margin management
- Ability to draft and negotiate complex agreements
