MacGregor Black is currently supporting a Global Spirits Distributor with one of the best portfolios on the market, and is seeking a Key Account Manager to join their growing team. This is a permanent role based in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan targeting top-tier On Premise accounts to boost distribution, enhance visibility, and initiate impactful activation programmes.
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts, fostering relationships with influential buyers and marketers to achieve sales targets and elevate brand engagement.
  • Drive brand-specific activations such as perfect serves, tailored competitions, and unique branding opportunities to enhance customer experience and brand loyalty.
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers and internal teams to align strategies and optimise execution across the territory.
  • Utilise CRM tools to maintain detailed records of account interactions, sales progress, and market insights.
  • Engage with industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to reinforce brand visibility and gather market intelligence.
  • Regular evening work and participation in customer functions to solidify relationships and stay aligned with the industry’s dynamic environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A minimum of 3 years of proven success in on-trade sales or account management, preferably within the spirits or broader alcohol sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the London on-trade market, including key players within IFT’s and MRG’s.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and build rapport across a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Creative and strategic thinker capable of developing and executing innovative sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales performance tracking tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about spirits and enthusiastic about brand advocacy.

Salary & Benefits – Up to £50k base, with full benefits package.
