Sales Development Representative (SDR) – London (Hybrid) 3 days per week

We’re growing fast and are looking for an SDR to help expand our partner network, particularly among accountants and independent financial advisors (IFAs).

The Role

As an SDR at Penfold, you’ll play a key role in growing our professional partner network, generating high-quality meetings for our sales teams. This is a high-activity, outbound-focused role where success comes from confidence on the phone, strong communication, and the ability to build trust with senior professionals.

You’ll:

  • Own outbound activity to accountants and IFAs via calls, email, and LinkedIn (50+ calls/day).
  • Identify, research, and engage potential partner firms and key decision-makers.
  • Articulate Penfold’s value proposition and how we support their clients.
  • Qualify interest and book meetings for the Sales team with strong context and handover.
  • Engage inbound partner interest and convert it into meaningful conversations.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of partner-led opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Partnerships, and Marketing to refine messaging and targeting.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activity in HubSpot CRM.
  • Consistently hit (and exceed!) activity and meeting targets, earning uncapped commission.

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves:

  • B2B, partnerships, or channel experience—especially with accountants or IFAs.
  • Proactive and driven self-starter.
  • Comfortable on the phone with senior professionals.
  • Experience in sales, SDR, or commercial roles with opportunity qualification skills.
  • Excellent communicator, able to build rapport quickly.
  • Resilient and target-driven.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience in fintech, pensions, or financial services.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot), phone systems (AirCall), and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Experience in startup or scale-up environments.
