Role: Sales Applications Engineer

Industry: automation + controls + mechanical engineering

Location: Cheshire

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 approx. but depending on experience

Benefits: commission and Xmas bonus

Whoever steps into this role and does well will quickly be rewarded with base salary will increase related to performance he can earn a lot of money as we are a rapidly growing company who operates across all sectors so it’s very wide range of interesting applications to solve.

Job Role:

• Use product knowledge to guide clients in product selection.
• Provide quotes for actuators, motors, drives and systems to potential customers.
• Provide technical support information.
• To formulate technical commercial solutions from customer enquiries.
• Aim to respond in a timely manner (<24hrs) to technical enquiries.
• Liaise with the customer and engineering to ensure the customer receives the appropriate support.
• Help to ensure that the departments KPI’s are met.
• Collaboration with the marketing team to ensure that prospective and existing clients are targeted with relevant marketing collateral.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the business.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical field Aerospace Engineering, Physics is a advantage
