The Role
You will lead operations across multiple live data centre construction projects throughout Europe, ensuring consistent delivery standards across all phases — from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring a strong understanding of construction delivery, sequencing, and the realities of building in mission-critical environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing operational leadership across multiple data centre construction projects, ensuring safe and efficient site delivery
- Driving programme certainty, construction sequencing, and coordination across MEP, CSA, and commissioning teams
- Managing resource planning and workforce allocation across multiple countries and live projects
- Supporting project mobilisation, ensuring teams, processes, and supply chains are set up for successful delivery
- Overseeing construction performance, identifying risks to programme, cost, and quality, and implementing mitigation strategies
- Working closely with Project Directors and Construction Managers to maintain delivery standards across all sites
- Strengthening relationships with key clients, contractors, and supply chain partners
- Driving consistency in construction methodologies, standards, and reporting across the European portfolio
- Supporting commercial awareness across projects, ensuring alignment between delivery and financial performance
- Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring HSE compliance across all projects.

- Proven experience in an Operations Director / Regional Director / Construction Director role
- A strong background in construction delivery, ideally within data centres or mission-critical environments
- Experience managing multiple projects or programmes across different locations
- A solid understanding of MEP and CSA construction, sequencing, and commissioning integration
- Experience working with hyperscale or colocation clients, or on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong leadership and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams
- The ability to operate at both strategic and delivery level
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
