Electronics Design Engineer – £60.000 DoE + Bonus
If you’re an Electronics Design Engineer with experience in the Sonar/Underwater Acoustics industry who wants to work on Real Hardware, not theoretical diagrams, you’re in the right place.
This opportunity will enable you to help design and build advanced sonar and subsea sensing systems used worldwide in marine surveying and research.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and develop next‑gen electronics for underwater acoustic systems
- Create schematics & multi‑layer PCBs, then test, tweak, and improve them
- Solve real engineering problems through analysis and root‑cause investigation
- Work closely with other engineers, manufacturing, test, and quality teams
- Support customers and internal teams (occasional travel if you want it)
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years in Electronic Product Design
- Experience in Sonar Technology specifically.
- Degree or relevant expertise in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Strong mixed‑signal experience (SoCs, FPGAs, power, analogue stages)
- Comfortable with hands‑on lab work and debugging
Nice to Have
Altium Designer, C/C++ or VHDL, MATLAB/DSP, comms protocols, HV DC experience.
