Robotics Deployment Engineer (Field & Applications)

Full-time | Permanent

Location: London, UK (or remote)

Compensation: £60,000-80,000 per year.

Travel: 80% across Europe.

Role Overview

Our customer, an AI robotics start-up, is building and scaling the deployment of AI-driven robotic arms for industrial environments, including manufacturing facilities and logistics operations. This role focuses on bringing these systems from concept to real-world performance at client sites. This role is the first of it’s kind within the business, and they are now looking for an deployment engineer with a growth mindset who wants to join their journey, build/deliver a deployment process, and facilitate further growth in the area of field operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and streamline end-to-end deployment workflows, covering technical pre-sales input, safety integration, and handling processes
  • Lead on-site implementation of robotic solutions, ensuring successful installation, calibration, and operational readiness
  • Track system performance post-deployment and collaborate with engineering teams to refine and optimise results
  • Contribute to commercial efforts by providing technical expertise during client discussions alongside leadership
  • Oversee and coordinate complex deployments for strategic customers
  • Occasionally support AI development initiatives in partnership with the technical team

Your Background

Core Requirements:

  • Proven hands-on experience deploying robotic systems in real-world environments
  • Strong organisational and project leadership capabilities
  • Working knowledge of robotic software, machine vision, industrial cameras etc.
  • Genuine interest in robotics and artificial intelligence, combined with a self-driven and structured approach to work
  • Professional proficiency in English

Additional Assets:

  • Experience with industrial robotic arms or collaborative robots
  • Exposure to technical sales or pre-sales activities in robotics
  • Familiarity with AI-based robotic applications
  • Understanding of software rollout and integration processes
  • Additional language skills (French and/or German)
