JOB TITLE:Business Development Executive
RESPONSIBLE TO:Chanel Development Manager

PURPOSE OF JOB:
To generate new business and revenue opportunities through proactive direct sales activity and secure well qualified appointments for the sales teams.
To identify new VAR (Value Added Reseller) opportunities.
The role is predominantly a ‘new business’ sales role, finding new customer opportunities and lead generation through cold calling and other outbound sales activity.
MAIN DUTIES:
New Business
- To call the data provided as a data cleansing exercise
- Using the data provided, call to generate sales interest and make qualified appointments for the sales teams
- Using the data provided, contribute to coordinated sales and marketing campaigns to generate interest and appointments
- Follow up mailshots and other marketing activities with calls / emails.
Account Management
- Once established in the role, take ownership of managing both new and existing partner accounts.
- Maintain a good level of knowledge about Cellhire, our tariffs, the market and our competitors
- Ensure your customers are kept fully informed of our full portfolio of services.
- Identify potential new service requirements and feedback to Marketing
- Provide support to the sales teams, where appropriate.
Quotes and Sales Administration
- Work with the Head of Channel & Channel Development Managers to develop opportunities and leads.
- Produce quotes and other supporting documentation for customers within agreed timescales and following Marketing guidelines.
- To complete accurate administration of the sales processes including updating the customer database and use of Cellhire’s CRM system.
- Manage administration time appropriately to ensure telephone sales time is maximised.
- Provide feedback from customers regarding competitors or feedback on Cellhire’s Product Offering to the Head of Channel and Marketing Manager.
Customer Service
- To provide additional support for customers as required, for example incoming sales calls, technical support and customer service.
- To pass on leads to other sales colleagues as appropriate.
- Any additional duties within the level of competence as requested by the Managers or Directors of the company.
Quality
- To ensure that all procedures are adhered to as stipulated in the Cellhire Quality Procedures and Quality Policy in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
