Role Description
The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lincolnshire. The primary responsibilities include identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and developing strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets. This role involves market research, customer engagement, and representing Pearson Hydraulics at industry events and meetings. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams to identify new product opportunities, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive revenue growth.
Qualifications
- Sales and Account Management: Proficiency in developing strategic sales plans, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
- Market Research: Ability to identify market opportunities and analyze industry trends to support long-term business goals.
- Customer Engagement: Skilled in building and maintaining client relationships, presenting services, and closing deals.
- Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving: Strong capabilities in identifying growth opportunities and addressing challenges effectively.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with hydraulic systems, components, or a technical background related to the industry is highly desirable.
- Communication and Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to conduct professional presentations and successful negotiations.
- Experience and Education: Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management. A degree or relevant qualification in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
