Operations Manager / General Manager / Engineering Manager required for a new distributor of fluid power and rotating equipment.
The Operations Manager / General Manager / Engineering Manager will be responsible for directing the company’s strategy and overseeing all aspects of customer service, production, maintenance, quality, and health & safety. You will ensure that all internal operations are aligned with company growth forecasts.
The ideal candidate will have experience as an Operations Manager / General Manager within a manufacturing environment and be located within a commutable distance to Austin or willing to relocate.
Package:
- Up to $125,000 – $150,000 +

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of customer service, production, maintenance, quality, and safety.
- Ensure smooth production processes to meet quantity, cost, and quality targets.
- Assist in growth strategies, including onboarding, expanding the business, and developing strategic plans.
- Implement process improvements within cost-effective measures.
- Establish quality control measures and conduct performance evaluations.
- Coordinate between departments to streamline workflows.
- Set and monitor departmental goals.
- Manage customer expectations and resolve operational challenges.
- Maintain a safe working environment for staff and visitors.
- Develop new business opportunities to support company growth.
- This is an on-site role based in Austin.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as an Operations or General Manager in manufacturing.
- Experience in electronics is advantageous but not required.
- Support international operations and sales.
- Develop both short-term and long-term goals.
- Align with company culture.
- Have a clear vision for growth, preferably with engineering experience handling operations and managing diverse teams.
