About the role

As a Development Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering new housing schemes that transform neighbourhoods and improve lives. You’ll oversee projects through to construction, handover, and post‑completion review — ensuring every scheme meets our high standards, Homes England requirements, and regeneration objectives.

This is an exciting opportunity to blend strategic thinking with hands‑on project delivery, working with a wide range of partners including contractors, consultants, local authorities, residents, and internal teams.

What you will be doing

Project Management & Delivery

  • Project manage new-build housing schemes from planning to handover.
  • Support the preparation of offers and funding bids.
  • Monitor timelines, budgets, funding commitments, and contractor performance.
  • Ensure all agreements comply with PCH, Board and Homes England standards.
  • Ensure design quality, technical standards and compliance throughout.
  • Oversee snagging, client briefings and cross‑department engagement.
  • Maintain robust documentation for internal and external audit.

Community Engagement & Social Value

  • Work closely with the Communities Team to support local regeneration priorities.
  • Ensure resident involvement in pre‑planning and post‑contract stages.
  • Monitor social value outcomes including employment, training, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Coordinate resident communications during construction.

Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who is:

  • Confident managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Skilled in negotiation, relationship building, and communication
  • Knowledgeable about housing development, construction processes or regeneration
  • Detail‑driven with strong financial and compliance awareness
  • Passionate about community impact and delivering real social value
