The Duty Manager is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the venue, maintaining exceptional guest experiences, and supporting the team to deliver outstanding service. Acting as a senior point of contact, this role combines operational oversight with hands:on leadership, fostering a culture of excellence, engagement, and enjoyment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily venue operations to ensure smooth execution and high service standards.
- Support, coach, and develop managers and team members to optimize performance and guest satisfaction.
- Act as the senior escalation point for operational or guest:related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Lead by example, engaging with guests to create memorable experiences and encourage repeat visits.
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve sales targets and enhance overall venue performance.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and operational policies.
- Contribute to training initiatives and the continuous development of service excellence across all departments.
Skills And Experience
- Proven experience in a hospitality or leisure management role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest service and creating welcoming experiences.
- Confident decision:maker with strong problem:solving abilities.
- Financial awareness and understanding of venue performance metrics.
