Join our team as the Registered Care Manager at Sense Hub, Belfast. Since opening its doors in 2025, Sense Hub Belfast has become a vital cornerstone for people living with complex needs across Northern Ireland. We didn’t just open a building; we created a thriving community.
We are looking for a visionary Registered Care Manager to lead this flagship service. This is more than a management role; it is an opportunity to drive a service that empowers individuals with sensory loss and learning disabilities to live life to the fullest. Whether it is through sports, the arts, or developing essential life skills, you will ensure our members remain at the heart of everything we do.
Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday, including evenings)Salary: £33,730 per annumInterview date: 17th April 2026
Your required skills and experiences:
- A full UK Driving License and use of your own vehicle.
- A minimum of five years practice experience in any health and social care setting, with one or more of the service user groups supported by the day service.
- Experience of supervising and line managing team members in accordance with policy and legislation in the care sector.
- Effective communication with stakeholders, commissioners, and users alike.
- Working towards or completed a QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Adult Management)
- Some knowledge of BSL and Makaton is desirable.
Your duties can include:
- To support individuals/groups within their home and community reach their full potential
- Providing line management support to a team of staff.
- Rota and annual leave management.
- To provide a customised, responsive, and high-quality service to people with learning disabilities who use Sense services.
- Identify needs and outcomes for each individual we support.
- Deliver services that meet or exceed Sense’s legal and organisational standards.
