What’s the job all about?
This role is key to strengthening our UK presence. The Regional Account Manager will take ownership of a high-performing region covering South West England and South Wales, managing a portfolio dealers and contributing to a significant share of the business.
You will be responsible for delivering sales and margin targets, executing commercial plans, and building strong, long-term dealer relationships. This is a field-based role requiring a high level of autonomy, structured planning, and consistent in-person engagement.
What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve?
Customer & Territory Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and regional dealers, including flagship stores, independent retailers, and chain outlets
- Conduct regular in-person sales meetings following a structured route plan to drive engagement and performance
- Manage a portfolio of dealers within the assigned territory
- Develop and execute territory and account plans based on dealer potential
- Act as the primary contact for partner stores and local trendsetters within the cycling community
- Monitor and manage order pipelines to ensure delivery of sales and margin targets
Sales Delivery & Commercial Execution
- Achieve sales, margin, and assortment targets in line with the annual sales plan
- Negotiate and implement annual agreements, trade terms, and promotional activities
- Support new product introductions and key promotional events
- Drive demand and sell-out through campaigns, dealer training, and POS materials
Cross-Functional Collaboration (One Accell)
- Collaborate with Bikes, P&A, Marketing, Retail, Dealer Support, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams
- Align with Trade Marketing on events, campaigns, and local activations
- Represent Accell at dealer events, fairs, and local activations
Market Insight & Business Development
- Identify market trends and business opportunities to strengthen dealer performance
- Provide feedback on pricing, assortment, and competitor activity
Customer Enablement & Experience
- Deliver dealer training on product, brand, and category knowledge
- Ensure strong in-store execution and visual merchandising standards
- Resolve customer issues quickly to maintain long-term relationships
- Maintain high-quality CRM data for forecasting, pipeline visibility, and reporting
Who are we looking for?
- 3+ years of relevant experience in account management or sales
- Proven track record of delivering sales and margin targets
- Strong relationship management skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Solid product and industry knowledge, including dealer network dynamics
- Excellent knowledge of the UK cycling industry
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Salesforce, and CRM systems
- Experience working with structured data inputs and defined reporting formats
- Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, reporting, pipeline tracking)
