The Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for optimising production processes, improving product quality, and ensuring cost-effective manufacturing operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support new product introduction and ongoing process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes
- Support new product introduction (NPI) activities
- Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role
- Strong understanding of production processes and lean principles
- Experience within a manufacturing environment (e.g. mechanical, electrical, or precision engineering)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Package
- Salary: £45,000–£47,000
- 37-hour working week (4.5 days)
- 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
