This role in summary
Reporting to the Head of AO, Online & Mail-order, the National Account Manager (NAM) will be responsible for managing and developing Beko Europe’s business across an assigned set of product categories within the Argos, Very & Mail-order accounts.
You will own the full commercial relationship — driving profitable sales growth, managing joint business plans, delivering category objectives and ensuring flawless execution across the customer journey.
This is a high-impact role within one of our most strategically important accounts.
Your responsibilities will include
- Manage and grow sales performance across assigned Major Domestic Appliance (MDA) categories within the Argos, Very & Mail-order account.
- Act as key Commercial Lead on Home Delivery, liaising with key stakeholders across the business to optimise home delivery volumes & performance
- Manage further SDF integration projects with both Argos & Very
- Develop and deliver Joint Business Plans aligning customer and company objectives.
- Drive volume, revenue, and profitability targets in line with annual budgets.
- Lead range reviews, promotional planning and product launches in collaboration with marketing, supply chain and category teams.
- Analyse market data, sales trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams (finance, marketing, demand planning) to ensure seamless execution and account service.
- Create bespoke promotional plans for your categories which will not only drive results for Argos, Very & Mail-order but will waterfall down to the rest of the business.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships within Argos, Very & Mail-order — particularly with buying, merchandising, and category teams.
- Provide accurate forecasts and business updates to the Head of AO, Online & Mail-order and wider sales leadership.
- Liaise with Supply Chain contacts to optimise Home Delivery availability metrics
- Represent Beko Europe professionally at customer meetings, trade shows and business reviews.
Minimum requirements
- Proven experience as a National Account Manager or Key Account Manager within the Major Domestic Appliance, Consumer Electronics or FMCG sector.
- Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering growth with major UK retailers (ideally Argos, Very & Mail-order or other national electrical retailers).
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insight.
- Confident communicator and relationship builder at all levels.
- Highly organised, results-driven and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient use of excel.
- Degree-level education (or equivalent professional experience).
